The San Diego Zoo is home to over 4,000 animals, and over 800 species. These animals are distributed throughout 9 exhibits across the park; each provides guests with an up close view. As you enter the zoo you will have the option to take a guided bus tour to locate each of these exhibits. You may also travel through the air to the other side of the zoo on the Skyfari. Visitors can stop by the Elephant Odyssey to see one of seven elephants take a swim in one of their many pools, and they can also laugh at the monkey’s jumping from tree to tree in the Lost Forest. The other exhibits are: Discovery Outpost, Outback, Urban Jungle, Asian Passage, Panda Canyon, and Polar Rim.
The San Diego Zoo takes pride in featuring many activates for guests of all ages. One of the more popular activities is viewing Happy Feet in 4D! This 4D experience includes snow, mist, and wind surrounding you while watching the film.
